
Hiking Trails
Aska Adventure Area: River Ridge Lodge is located in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area. The Aska Trails Area is a 17 mile hiking-mountain biking trail system developed on Chattahoochee National Forest lands near Deep Gap on Aska Road in Blue Ridge. Trails range in length from 1 to 5.5 miles and are open to the public all year round.
Hiking Bluer Ridge Lake: Lake Blue Ridge Trail (.6 miles) This is the perfect trail for a family day outing. Bring along a picnic and hike along the gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge. This loop trail follows the shoreline of Lake Blue Ridge and offers a beautiful view of the lake. It is flat and a good trail for families with young children. Directions: From Blue Ridge, take Old U.S. 76 east for 1.5 miles to Dry Branch Road. Turn right and go 3 miles to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Recreation Area. The trail begins and ends in the picnic area.
