Hayrides & Apple Orchards
Take a 30 minute wagon ride through a working apple orchard is followed by a fireside dinner where local musicians bring a taste of the mountains and our local culture to your family. The dinner at the campfire consists of homemade chili, cornbread, soda, water, and homemade dessert, as well as hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting. After dinner, you can end the evening with a game of horseshoes next to the fire. The entire evening usually lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is held an hour before nightfall yearlong. This activity is great for large groups who want to enjoy a campfire dinner with entertainment. They need a minimum of 8 people to have a hayride, but willl try to combine smaller families together to reach the required minimum number.
